Material transport
For material transport we apply the same standards as for passenger transportation. The units and bulk materials are transported reliably and safe to their destination. There are different transport systems to choose from. Depending on the material and requirements, the customer can draw on a suitable system.
In addition to the existing ropeway systems, Doppelmayr developed the "RopeCon" system especially for these requirements. The system incorporates the advantages of conveying systems and ropeway equipment. It can be spanned along longer paths and is thus the right transport system for rough terrain or topographically challenging areas. Obstacles such as rivers, roads or railroad tracks are crossed without problems.
