Funitel - advanced ropeway technology. Perfected by Doppelmayr/Garaventa, the Funitel system offers outstanding lateral stability for operation at wind speeds of 100 km/h or above. The use of two parallel haul ropes 3.2 m apart makes it possible to achieve extremely long spans.
A special pneumatic cabin suspension ensures that the 24 passengers enjoy the ride in maximum comfort. Line speeds of up to 7.5 m/s generate transport capacities of 3,200 - 4,000 persons per hour.
